Help locating control fuse in Trane furnace
We are having some remodeling work done in our downstairs area and while the wall was open I decided to run conduit for the wires to the thermostat. Even though I covered the ends with electrical tape, I must have grounded something and blew the fuse for the control voltage.
Can anyone steer me towards a diagram or tell me where this fuse is in the furnace? I know there's a 24 volt control voltage fuse because I did this once before and the HVAC contractor had to come out and replace it. The home visit was $90 or so and he was laughing when he told me I did most of the troubleshooting myself with an electrical meter, I just didn't know where the fuse was. Well that was three years ago and I can't remember where the fuse is now. I pulled the cabinet door off and I don't see anything obvious. The model is a Trane XV90 furnace. I have no voltage to the control wires by our thermostat (hence the thermostat does not power up).
Thanks,
Adam
